Community Participation
Community Participation: TiDi actively engages communities in decision-making processes, project planning, and implementation to ensure that development initiatives are responsive to local needs, priorities, and aspirations. This includes:
- Participatory Planning: Facilitating community meetings, focus group discussions, and participatory mapping exercises to identify community needs, assets, and priorities and develop action plans collaboratively.
- Community Mobilization: Encouraging community members to participate actively in project activities, volunteer their time and resources, and contribute to the success and sustainability of initiatives.
- Capacity Building: Providing training and technical assistance to community leaders, representatives, and stakeholders to strengthen their capacity to participate effectively in decision-making processes and project implementation.
- Social Inclusion: Promoting the participation of marginalized and vulnerable groups, including women, youth, persons with disabilities, and ethnic minorities, to ensure that their voices are heard and their needs are addressed.
